Anton boX Burko, Nemiga's Counter-Strike 2 Head Coach has shared his thoughts on the recent news.

Q: What was your first month of summer like?

boX: Had some good rest in June. I managed to watch the Major live in Cologne and travel around Belarus with my family.

Q: The start of the season is just around the corner. Can you give us some focal points?

boX: Well, at the start of the season the goals are always quite similar. We must get back into the shape quickly and become a team ready to compete for Tier-1 tournaments. The general game plan remains the same: we'll continue to play both online and offline events. Regarding the latter, we'll do our best to ensure it's not just regional LANs.

Q: We're playing BLAST Bounty. How did you react to this news?

boX: Great news. But it's crucial to keep our head cold. We all understand: this is a chance to get a breath of fresh air amidst all the Tier-3 tournaments we usually play.

Q: Overpass is gone. A big loss for us?

boX: Cache reintroduction is clearly not the best option for the team's map pool. Overpass was one of our best maps, and I don't think any of our players has ever played competitive Cache before. They're young. Still, it's always great to have something new in the game. Everyone is in the same boat right now, so all we can do is work as much as we can.

Time to lock in as we pick our first BLAST Bounty opponent on Friday, July 17th! See you at the livestreams 😈
